MASSENA—The New York Power Authority announced
Friday that the gates at Iroquois Dam near Waddington have been

decreased water levels on Lake St. Lawrence. The order to reopen
the gates was issued by the International St. Lawrence River Board
of Control to the Power Authority and Ontario Power Generation,
joint owners of the dam.
