Clark Energy Center in Marcy, and his daughter Marie, 10, adjust a fall protection harness on Madelyn Hoke 7, of  Prospect during Bring Your Child to Work Day at the center.  Madelyn is the daughter of David Hoke, an economist on the center staff. Thirty children experienced a full day of activities and demonstrations at the July 14 event, which gave them a firsthand look at what their parents do on the job. The Clark Energy Center coordinates statewide operation of the Power Authority’s 18 power plants and more than 1,400 circuit-miles of transmission lines and serves as the Authority’s training facility for transmission linemen.
