Charles Lipsky, NYPA’s Longest-Serving Chief
Engineer and a Westchester Resident, Retires from Statewide Public
Power Utility After Nearly 4 Decades

Charles I. Lipsky, fourth from left, the N.Y. Power
Authority’s longest-serving chief engineer, was honored by the NYPA
trustees on June 27 with a resolution of thanks and admiration,
following his retirement from the Authority after nearly four
decades. With Lipsky, from left, are NYPA Vice Chairman Michael J.
