New York Power Authority Supports Staten Island’s Inaugural Film Festival: NYPA is Award Sponsor for Best Documentary Feature Film Contact: May 31, 2006 STATEN ISLAND—The inaugural Staten Island Film Festival kicks off Thursday (June 1) at the St. George Theater as local, national and international filmmakers vie for awards in over a dozen film categories. The New York Power Authority is the award sponsor for “Best Documentary Feature Film.” The four-day film festival is produced by the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) and is open to the public.
