Opportunity: Advanced Clean Energy Fuel Cell Dedicated at SUNY
ESF Campus

New York Power Authority and New York State Energy
Research and Development Authority representatives will join with
Cornelius B. Murphy, Jr., President of the State University of New
York’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry on Tuesday,
February 21 at 1:30 in the Bray Hall Rotunda for a dedication
ceremony for the college’s new 250 kilowatt molten carbonate fuel
cell.
This is the first molten carbonate fuel cell slated
for operation in New York State. Once operational the fuel cell
will provide clean energy to the campus. SUNY ESF will use the
residual heat for domestic hot water, space heating and cooling.
NYPA and NYSERDA are the major funding partners for this new clean
energy technology.
