Opportunity: Buffalo Energy Expo

Officials from the sponsor organizations for the
BUFFALO ENERGY EXPO will be available for interviews and photos at the
Expo from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Sat, Nov 5. Also, during that time, a
presentation will be made to the American Red Cross-Erie County Chapter
from the sponsors. Funds contributed by the vendors and energy
professionals to reserve their tables at the Expo will be donated to the
American Red Cross-Erie County Chapter.
The Buffalo Energy Expo on Saturday, Nov 5 is
sponsored by the New York Power Authority (NYPA); New York Energy Smart,
a joint initiative of the New York State Energy Research and Development
Authority (NYSERDA) and the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC);
New York State Consumer Protection Board and National Grid.
With winter’s chill quickly coming, learn ways to
reduce your electric bill and improve the environment by conserving
electric use at your home and business. Learn how to get ready now for
energy savings year-round. The Expo will provide information on energy
conservation services and products, and low-cost funding opportunities
for Buffalo homeowners and small businesses (public and private). Learn
from professionals and vendors covering a range of topics including home
and business energy audits, lighting, appliances, insulation, heating
and much more.
