NYPA Delivers Electric Citivans For Use at the Main Post Office In

The first clean fueled delivery vehicles for Queens are being presented tomorrow, Wed Oct 26, to the United States Postal Service by the New York Power Authority (NYPA).
Built by Azure Dynamics Corporation, the electric CitiVans, have a two-ton capacity.
City Councilmember John Liu, District Postmaster Lily Jung and Postmaster William Rogers will receive the keys from NYPA Public & Governmental Affairs Director Joseph Leary at the Main Post Office at 41-65 Main Street, Flushing. The vehicles will be used to transport mail between the Main Post Office and smaller postal facilities throughout the community.
There will be excellent photo opportunities to capture the
two Azure CitiVans’ first run.
