News Advisory & Photo Opportunity: New York Power Authority Contribution to Bassett Hospital

Eugene W. Zeltmann, president and chief executive officer, New York Power Authority (NYPA), will present a contribution of $10,000 to Bassett Hospital of Schoharie to go towards the new cardiac care unit. This is the second contribution of a five-year commitment from NYPA to support Bassett Hospital.
Zeltmann will be joined by Senator James L. Seward, trustees from the hospital; Horace Horton, who was recently appointed regional manager for NYPA’s Blenheim-Gilboa Power Project in Schoharie County, and Steven J. DeCarlo, former regional manager for the project, and now, senior vice president for the Transmission Business Unit at NYPA’s Frederick Clark Energy Center in Marcy, just outside Utica..
