Wildlife Festival Celebrates 20th Anniversary Year

The New York Power Authority’s (NYPA)
Blenheim-Gilboa Power Project Visitors Center will host its 20th annual
Wildlife Festival on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Experience a variety of exciting wild adventures
and enjoy hands-on interactive family fun activities. The Wildlife
Festival, which is free, is held annually in recognition of National
Hunting and Fishing Day. Come face-to-face with nature at its wildest
with a host of environmental and outdoor educators, and wildlife
experts. Food and beverages will be available.
Activities and wildlife presentations:
Raptor Project, Rain Forest Reptile Show, Willow Farms Miniatures, Red
Maple Farms, Llamas, Harvest Moon Alpacas, Fly-Tying Workshop, Draft
Horses Wagon Rides and Blacksmith Demonstrations. Arts and crafts are
also available.
Entertainment: Mike Inserra’s Juggling, The
Zucchimi Brothers and Cassandra Boucher.
Music: “2 Late,” Blues Music by “Phrog”
and Mr. Bouncety Bounce.
