Niagara Power Project Work To Alter Parkway Traffic
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEWISTON—New York Power Authority officials, preparing
to continue a $13 million refurbishment of the concrete face of the
Robert Moses Niagara Power Plant, have announced a new traffic pattern
on the Robert Moses Parkway during the repair work.
The work will entail repair and, in some cases replacement, of the concrete facing of the power plant. Support vehicles for the work will be located in the southbound Parkway lane closest to the work area. The hiking trail that currently occupies that lane will be shifted eastward into what has been the southbound automobile lane.
