LEWISTON—The New York Power Authority fishing pier at the base of the Robert Moses Niagara Power Plant will be open for public use from dawn to dusk each day.

The pier, which provides access to an outstanding fishing area on the Niagara River, can be reached from Hyde Park Boulevard. Parking is available at a lot near the top of the Gorge. The pier is fully accessible to the handicapped and limited handicapped parking is available near the entrance to the pier.

Fishing in the upper reservoir, limited only to the shoreline, continues to be available daily from dawn to dusk.
