The minutes of the meeting of July 21, 2006, were unanimously adopted.

Power for
Jobs Extended Benefits Recommendations
for Electricity Savings
Reimbursements
The members of the Board reconsidered the 60 applications for extended benefits recommendations for electricity savings reimbursements listed below for Power for Jobs. Mr. Pasquale explained that some 54,350 jobs would be impacted. See Exhibits 2-A1 and 2-A2.
The following resolution was unanimously adopted
by members of the Board present.

Mr.
Pasquale presented the highlights of staffs recommendations to the Board. In response to a question from Mr. Corbett,
Mr. Pasquale said that the 20 companies that were not in job compliance were
eligible to apply for reconsideration of their power allocation reduction. Chairman McCullough added that Authority
staff would notify those companies about the process for applying for such
reconsideration.
In
response to another question from Mr. Corbett, Chairman McCullough said that
the future of the PFJ program, among others, was one of the topics being
discussed by the temporary Commission on the Future of
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the
Board hereby finds and determines that such applications meet the requirements
of the extended benefits provisions of the Power for Jobs legislation contained
in Article 6 of the Economic Development Law as amended by Chapter 313 of the
Laws of 2005; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the
Board recommends to the Power Authority of the State of New York the 60 applications
for extended benefits recommendations for electricity savings reimbursements discussed
herein totaling 70,239 kW until December 31, 2006.



3. Next Meeting
Chairman McCullough said that the date for Octobers EDPAB meeting would be selected within the next week or so.
