Load Forecast Analyst

Description:
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the long-term forecasting function. Training will be provided in all relevant areas. You will support all existing long-term forecasting functions related to the development and improvement of sales and revenue forecasts. In addition to supporting improvements to the existing LTMF model, you will also assist in preparing forecasts for use in NYPA’s overall Operating Forecast, Long-Range Financial Plan, and Cost of Service.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, marketing, or a related discipline. MBA is preferred, as is prior experience in the utility industry. Must have extensive knowledge of computer software and database applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Ability to multi-task, self-start, and prioritize work is essential.
