SAP Configuration Analyst

Business Services - Controller - Government Billing
White Plains, N.Y.

Description:
The SAP Configuration Analyst will support on-going maintenance of the SAP CCS/Billing System.  Specific responsibilities include carrying-out system maintenance activities such as changes in functionality (system configuration) to support NYPA’s business requirements and ensuring that such changes are appropriately tested within the constraints of the SAP environment.  The incumbent will prepare test plans and provide testing associated with the application of SAP legal compliance patches and system upgrades.  The incumbent will also have responsibility for troubleshooting problems that may arise during the monthly billing cycle and will work with both billing and technical staff to resolve such issues.  In addition, the incumbent will provide training, data analysis, report development and customer liaison activities where appropriate.

Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering and five years experience working with SAP R/3, preferably with the CCS/Billing module and Business Warehouse.   An advanced degree is highly desirable.

Knowledge of the electric utility industry, billing concepts, tariffs and terminology, as well as information systems analysis, design, development and testing activities is required.
