Robert E. Moses

Robert E. Moses became a Power Authority trustee in
March 2006. His term runs until 2008.
Since 1982 Moses has been a member of the New York
State Economic Development Council, and is a trustee of the State
University of New York (SUNY) College of Environmental Science and
Forestry in Syracuse. He is an officer of the Association of College
Trustees of the State University of New York; a trustee of the New
York State Industrial Exhibit Authority; a director of the Audubon
Society of New York; and serves with the Empire State Forest
Products Association. Mr. Moses is a director of the Onondaga County
Bar Foundation and is a member of the New York State Bar Foundation.
Moses attended Syracuse University and received a
Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a law degree from
Georgetown University Law Center. He was a partner in the law firm
of Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC until 2004. He assisted clients,
including tourism organizations, with projects requiring private and
public participation to advance economic development. The projects
included analysis of economic development, commercial real estate
issues and government incentives.
Moses is not related to the former Power Authority
chairman who led the statewide utility from 1954 through 1962. |
