The Office of the Secretary provides administrative support to the Trustees, the Western New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board and the New York State Economic Development Power Allocation Board. In addition, the Office serves as a liaison between NYPA and the public. Among its many functions, the Secretary's Office maintains the Power Authority's official records and records of proceedings, initiates Authority rulemaking activities and arranges public hearings, meetings and forums. Other functions include affixing the Power Authority's seal as needed, delivering certificates under seal and handling requests for declaratory rulings.
The next regular meeting of the Trustees will be held on January 31, 2017, at a time to be determined, unless otherwise designated by the Chairman with the concurrence of the Trustees.
