WNY Power Proceeds Allocation Board to Recommend Economic Development Funding

BUFFALO — The Western New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board (WNYPPAB) is scheduled to meet Monday, June 23 at 3 p.m. at the Power Vista, the visitors center for the New York Power Authority’s (NYPA) Niagara Power Project, at 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, New York.

The proceeds board is expected to make funding recommendations under legislation signed into law by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to apply the net earnings of the market sale of unutilized hydropower from the NYPA’s Niagara project to support the growth of businesses in the region.
