'Sensational Saturday' March 8 at Niagara Power Vista

LEWISTON —It’s fun for kids of all ages on Saturday, March 8, at the Power Vista, the admission-free visitors center at the New York Power Authority’s Niagara Power Plant in Lewiston.

“Electricity and You” will feature entertaining and informative movies narrated by Bill Nye the Science Guy. Guided tours of the Power Vista will include live presentations on the basics of electricity.

Visitors are also invited to enjoy the Power Vista’s many energy-related interactive exhibits and displays and the spectacular views from an observation deck 350 feet above the Niagara River Gorge.

Energy efficiency informational materials and fun sheets for the kids will also be available.

The event runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission and parking are always free.
