New York Power Authority To Host Annual Halloween Party On October 22

MASSENA—The New York Power Authority will host its Spooktacular Halloween party at the Frank S. McCullough, Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center and Boat Launch at the St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Power Project from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The admission-free event will feature pumpkin- and face-painting, games and movies. All children in costume will be able to trick or treat for goodie bags during the party.

Guests will also be able to view the wide array of interactive exhibits at the visitors center on the themes of water power and the St. Lawrence facility, basics of electricity, and uses of electricity. Children and adults will be able to touch, see and listen to the many interactive exhibits while enjoying the panoramic views of the NYPA power dam.
