Media Advisory and Photo Opportunity: N.Y. Power Authority To Hold ‘Ride-And-Drive’ Event On Tuesday In White Plains To Showcase New Electric Vehicles For Governmental Customer Use

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will hold an electric vehicle workshop and “ride-and-drive” event on Tuesday at its White Plains Office for NYPA’s downstate governmental customers and other parties interested in deploying electric and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles. The day-long event is being held in partnership with New York City and Lower Hudson Valley Clean Communities--the regional chapter of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program. The vehicles at the afternoon ride-and-drive portion of the event will include the GM Volt, the plug-in Toyota Prius, the Mitsubishi MiEV and various other advanced electric and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles.
