Media Advisory and Photo Opportunity: NYPA And NFTA To Unveil Solar Array

New York Power Authority (NYPA) President and Chief Executive Officer Richard M. Kessel and Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) Chairman Henry M. Sloma will host an event celebrating the electrification of a solar project that will provide clean, renewable energy to support the operations at the NFTA’s bus garage on Military Road and advance the transit agency’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and protect the environment.
Kessel and Sloma will be joined by various public officials and environmental leaders in making the announcement at the garage. Event attendees will be provided an opportunity to photograph the solar array on the roof of the garage following the event.
