Media Advisory and Photo Opportunity: N.Y. Power Authority To Host 20th Annual Purchasing Exchange For Minority- And Women-Owned Business Enterprises

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will hold its 20th Annual Purchasing Exchange for minority- and women-owned business enterprises. (M/WBE’s) on Thur., June 17.

About 270 M/WBE firms are expected to send representatives to meet with almost 40 purchasing representatives from corporate and public sector entities at the Purchasing Exchange. The Purchasing Exchange will enable the MWBE representatives to gather, and exchange information and procurement opportunities with each other, and to pursue contract opportunities with the purchasing representatives including those from NYPA, other utilities, trade associations, city and state agencies and authorities, and corporate entities.
