Media Advisory and Photo Opportunity: New York Power Authority Joins Lake Placid Green Team to Promote Clean Energy

New York Power Authority President and Chief Executive Officer Richard M. Kessel will join Lake Placid Village Mayor Craig Randall and Kate Fish, executive director of the Adirondack North Country Association and board member of the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism, Lake Placid, to make an announcement about the Lake Placid Green Team, a task force that will advance efforts to advance the Village as a tourism destination by becoming a “leadership green community.”

Featured during the event will be a new infrared camera that will help Village residents identify heat loss in their homes during energy audits. In addition, several hybrid vehicles owned by the Village of Lake Placid and secured through the Power Authority’s Municipal Alternative Drive Vehicle Program will be on display
