Lighting Work on Local Roads to Cause Temporary

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEWISTON— The New York Power Authority will be
replacing road lighting on the I-190 and a section of Military Road
(Route 265) from Witmer Road (Route 31) to Upper Mountain Road.
Beginning Wednesday, August 26 and continuing through Friday, August
28, motorists should be aware of the following short-term traffic
restrictions:
Wednesday, August 26, from 7 am - 3:30 pm:
Southbound traffic on I-190 will be restricted to one lane from
Upper Mountain Road to Witmer Road (Route 31).
Thursday, August 27, from 7 am - 3:30 pm:
Northbound traffic on I-190 will be restricted to one lane from
Witmer Road (Route 31) to Upper Mountain Road.
Friday, August 28, from 7 am - 3:30 pm:
Traffic will be restricted to one lane on Military Road (Route 265)
between Witmer Road (Route 31) and Upper Mountain Roads. A flag
crew will direct both northbound and southbound traffic through the
one lane.
The Power Authority regrets the temporary
inconvenience to motorists.
