NYPA to Participate in Safety Day

MARCY – New York Power Authority
Community Relations Specialist Ann Cianfrocco will provide
electrical safety presentations as part of the Oneida County
Farm/Home Safety Day at the Oneida County-Booneville Fair Grounds on
June 4. Approximately 280 fifth-grade students from six area
elementary schools – Remsen, General William Floyd, Holland Patent,
Forestport, West Leyden and Boonville – are expected to attend the
event which is scheduled to take place between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The goal of the
Safety Day is to teach children how to prevent injuries. Local fire
departments, hospitals, industries and equipment dealers are also
expected to participate.
