Associate Electrical Engineer

Energy Services & Technology Business Unit Energy Services - Electrical Engineering
White Plains, N.Y.

Description:
In this position, you will perform electrical engineering assessments of customer facilities and make recommendations for energy improvements; ensure customer needs are met; prepare feasibility cost estimates and savings analyses; present feasibility assessments to customers; prepare electrical engineering calculations, construction specifications, and design drawings; prepare bid documents; evaluate construction bids and recommending contract award; prepare equipment purchase specifications; evaluate equipment bids and administering procurement contracts; review contractor and vendor submittals; resolve field issues; and visit construction sites to ensure installations conform to design.

Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, along with at least 3 years of engineering and design experience. EIT Certification is desirable. Knowledge of NY State and NYC codes and regulations as well as of industry codes, standards and work practices are necessary. Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings is necessary. Excellent multi-tasking, planning, organizational, management, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills are required.
